For anything to do with this website or your personal data, contact us at the email address above. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the "controller" of the personal data described below.
What data we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. This website has no sign-up forms, user accounts or analytics, and it does not set cookies.
- Server logs. When you visit, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you include in your message. We use this only to reply to you.
Why we use it (legal basis)
We process this data on the basis of our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR): running a secure, working website and responding to people who get in touch with us.
Third-party services
Some parts of this website rely on services run by other companies:
- Vercel Inc. hosts this website and processes server logs on our behalf. Data may be processed in the United States. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- YouTube (Google). Episode thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's servers, which means your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
- External links. Links to YouTube, Spotify and Luma (our event sign-up platform) take you to those services. Their own privacy policies apply once you're there, including when you register for an event on Luma.
The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to font providers.
How long we keep it
Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period in line with their policies. We keep emails only as long as needed to deal with your request, and then delete them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
To use any of these rights, just email us. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies or similar tracking technologies. If that changes, we will update this page and ask for your consent where required.
